Drug Supply Chain Security Act

To comply with the track and trace requirements of the Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA), Septodont is using the TraceLink Product information Manager (PIM) repository to store serialized data for drug products delivered to its downstream partners.

For each shipment, serialized data will be uploaded to the PIM Shipment Notices repository, where downstream partners can view, verify and download the Transaction Information (TI) and Transaction Statement (TS). This allows downstream partners to verify serialized product information (GTIN, NDC, Lot number, Expiry date, Serial number) in accordance with DSCSA regulations.

To gain access to this repository you will need to follow the instructions at this website, or email TraceLink (verification@tracelink.com) and request access to PIM – Shipment Notices as an end user.

You may then access the serialized data by logging onto https://opus.tracelink.com/. Once logged in, follow the steps below to access the shipment information:

To retrieve a shipment notice, start by selecting TraceLink Network Applications – Product Information Manager from the Network drop-down in the header. Next, choose Shipment Notices from the Process drop-down and click the Go button. Fill in the required fields: select a date range from the Date drop-down (either the default “Last week” or a custom range), enter the Transfer From Business (the business shipping the delivery), the Delivery Number associated with the shipment notice, and the Access Code provided by the Transfer From Business. Complete the reCAPTCHA checkbox to verify you are a real person, then click Search. The results will display in a table, showing details such as the Date Shipped, From Business, To Business, Ship To Location, Transaction IDs (e.g., Purchase Order Number), and the Quantity of serialized items included in the delivery.
